Youth For Revolution is proud to announce victory at the Nampa Public Library!
For the past two and a half years, director Randy Jackson has been involved in a campign to remove the pornographic books "The New Joy of Sex" and "The Joy of Gay Sex" from the public Library's general circulation shelves. This material was easily accessible to minors, and as studies have shown pornography is not only harmful to adults- resulting in the destruction of many marriages- but is very harmful to children as well.

Yesterday, Monday June 2, the Nampa Library Board of Directors voted to permanently keep these books out of general circulation, away from minors; they also changed the Library policy so that, in the future, no other books like this will be allowed to be in general circulation. They went further in their decision by stating that in the future, books with this type of pornographic imagery must be approved by the Library Board before the Library Staff can order them for the collection.

This is a huge victory for the community of Nampa, and for families across the state of Idaho- and a reminder to Christians that when we are willing to take a stand for what is right- we can have Victory, through the power of God and to His glory!
