Randy Jackson

Randy Jackson is the co-founder and director of Youth For Revolution, A Christian faith in action organization.  Randy has been active in putting faith in action on many levels, especially the pro-life cause.  Starting in 1999, shortly after the birth of his son, Elijah, he became active in Rock For Life Idaho/Generation Life, where he eventually became the associate director.  During this time, he was a part of a successful protest at the Salt Lake City Olympic Games, in which Generation Life and other pro-life groups were successful in ending condom distribution by Planned Parenthood and the Red Cross to Olympic patrons.  Also during this time, Randy was also a part of a peaceful protest of the 2004 “March For Women’s Lives” (a pro-abortion march and rally) in Washington D.C.  Other events include being a part of a protest outside MTV Studios in New York City, a protest of the annual presentation of Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award  in Portland, Oregon.  Randy also lead Youth For Revolution and others in a successful campaign to close down a satellite Planned Parenthood clinic in Nampa.  He is also on the Board of Directors for Idaho Chooses Life.

However, pro-life activism is not the only example of faith in action that Randy has been involved in.  He has spoken at different churches and youth groups.  In 2000, he went on a mission trip to Kiev, Ukraine.  He was active in trying to keep  the Ten Commandments monument from being removed from Julia Davis Park in Boise.  In 2006, he began a campaign to try and remove pornographic material from the Nampa Public Library; a campaign which landed him in the media on several occasions, including front page stories on The Idaho Press Tribune.  Randy has also been involved in one on one street ministry.  He is currently serving as a Deacon at Central Valley Baptist Church, where he is also a member of the Youth Staff.  However, his greatest accomplishment is being a husband to a wonderful wife- Lenette, and father to the best two kids in the world, Elijah and Esther!

Lenette Jackson

Lenette Jackson is the Secretary of the Board of Directors for Youth For Revolution, and the unofficial grim reaper mascot for the group.  She has been actively involved in pro-life activism since 1999, shortly after the birth of her son Elijah.  A member of Rock For Life Idaho, she was actively involved in many different pro-life activities.  In 2005, she participated in the effort to keep the Ten Commandments Monument in Julia Davis Park, and was arrested in a peaceful demonstration at the monument shortly before it was removed.  Lenette has also served for several years as a board member for Idaho Chooses Life.

She is also active in other areas- she has been involved in the Children’s ministries at Central Valley Baptist Church for several years, including being a Sunday School teacher, a children’s church director, and children’s church teacher.  Lenette has also participated in one-on-one street ministry.  She is also the proud home-schooling mom of Elijah and Esther!

Angel

Hey everybody! I'm Angel. Welcome to youth4revolution.com. I'm 16 years old and I love life. My favorite things to do involve, skateboarding, snowboarding, and hanging out with friends. I'm pretty outgoing, and I try not to worry much about what other people think of me. I'm in the marching band at my school and I love it! Last December the band went down to San Diego to participate in the Holiday Bowl, so that was pretty cool. I hate it when it snows at my house because I'm from California so as you can imagine I'm pretty cold during winter; but I love it when it snows in the mountains. The reason I'm pro-life is because unborn babies are not inconvenient blobs of tissue, they are human beings. So now that you know more about me, feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.

Megan

Abortion has touched my life many ways in just the two decades I have been alive. For those two decades, and the many I will continue to live, I thank my mother. To me, being Pro-life doesn’t just mean attending prayer vigils and protests; it means making a difference in the world. I did not choose to be Pro-life, it is innate in me and it is a gift that God so laid upon my life. It doesn’t matter to me the cost of speaking out against abortion. If I have to sacrifice my life to fight for another, that is what I am willing to do. I am here to take a stand against abortion and the lies it casts upon my community, my country, and my world. For far too long, people, even pro-life people, have been willing to sit in the comfort of their homes and turn their cheeks from the mass genocide that is happening every day of their lives because of abortion. However, I am here, on my feet, and with a voice that no one can silence- to spread the word of truth and justice. I am dedicated to protecting unborn children, women, and others who are affected by abortion. I believe that the Constitution is here to protect not just my rights, or yours- but the rights and lives of the unborn. I am simply a human being, and God is doing His will, His work, and what He sees fit, through me. There is a thin line between judgment and doing God’s work; however, I am not here to judge. I am simply here to provide the truth, to provide counseling, and to console those who are affected by abortion. I also strongly believe that morals and ethics need to be restored today to youth and to this entire nation. For too long, we have let Hollywood, the media, and peers, persuade our thoughts, beliefs, and way of life, but I am above that. My parents and ancestors fought for my freedom of thought, freedom of speech, and for my ability to put those thoughts and words into action, and I will not let petty fads and trends, uneducated people, or mountains of wealth determine my future. Instead, I am writing my own history by exercising my rights, and deciding how I want to live my life for myself.
